Last Updated: June 2, 2026 Welcome to Buller Taxi Services ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (https://bullertaxi.com), mobile applications, dispatch systems, and passenger transportation services (collectively, the "Services"). By booking a ride, creating an account, or accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not utilize our Services. 1. Payment Terms & Authorization Holds A. Pre-Ride Payment Requirement All fares must be paid in full prior to the vehicle departing from the designated pickup location, unless a different payment arrangement has been formally authorized and documented by our dispatch office. Drivers are strictly instructed not to put the vehicle in motion for a trip until a valid payment has been processed or verified. B. Payment Methods We accept the following payment methods for our transportation services: Credit Cards and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) Cash (Paid directly to the driver upon entry, prior to departure) Venmo Cash App C. Credit Card Authorization Holds When you request a ride through our website, mobile application, or dispatch line using a credit or debit card, we may place a temporary authorization hold on your card before the trip begins. This hold is not a permanent charge; it is used to verify that the card is active and possesses sufficient funds to cover the estimated cost of the ride, including potential distance adjustments. Upon successful completion of the ride, the actual final fare amount will be charged, and the temporary hold will be released by our payment processor. Depending on your banking institution, it may take 1 to 5 business days for the released hold to disappear from your account statement. We are not responsible for any overdraft or processing fees resulting from these standard verification holds. 2. Age Requirements & Minor Passengers A. Unaccompanied Minors (Ages 13 to 17) Buller Taxi Services permits the transport of teenage passengers between the ages of 13 and 17 without a parent or legal guardian present, strictly subject to prior parental or guardian consent. By booking a ride for a minor aged 13 to 17, the parent or legal guardian explicitly consents to the minor traveling unaccompanied and assumes full financial and legal responsibility for the minor’s conduct during the trip. Drivers or dispatch personnel reserve the right to request proof of age or verify parental authorization via telephone before accepting the passenger. B. Children Under 13 Passengers under the age of 13 are strictly prohibited from traveling unaccompanied. They must be accompanied at all times during the entire duration of the trip by a parent, legal guardian, or an authorized adult instructor/chaperone who is at least 18 years of age. 3. Passenger Code of Conduct To ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment for both our drivers and passengers, we enforce a strict, zero-tolerance Code of Conduct. A. Prohibited Actions Passengers are strictly prohibited from engaging in the following behaviors inside or around our vehicles: Physical or verbal abuse, threats, harassment, or discrimination directed toward the driver or other passengers. Smoking, vaping, or the consumption of illegal substances. Possession of open containers of alcohol, unless explicitly permitted by local jurisdiction and vehicle type. Vandalizing, dirtying, or causing physical damage to the vehicle's interior or exterior. Engaging in any behavior that distracts the driver or compromises the safe operation of the vehicle. B. Immediate Termination of Service Drivers reserve the absolute right to terminate any trip immediately, pull over to a safe location, and demand that the passenger exit the vehicle if this Code of Conduct is violated. If a ride is terminated due to passenger misconduct, no refunds will be issued, and the full fare remains due. 4. Safety & Surveillance Recordings For the explicit safety, security, and liability protection of both our riders and drivers, trips may be actively monitored and recorded using internal/external audio and video surveillance (dashcams).
